...BE... RESOUNDS LIKE A DESIRE
TO SHOUT ITS SINGULARITY TO THE WORLD
With this line of colorful hoodies made from 100% organic cotton, “BE” is thinking of all those who want to show their mood and who portray their life with mischief rather than gravity.
“BE”, or “ÊTRE” in French, is drawn in capital letters and resonates as a desire to stand out, to shout out to the world one’s singularity. This syllable, which we wanted to be common to all the pieces, is strong in meaning and seems to scream it.
Six frank and joyful colors, more than 50 words articulated around this necessary desire to take fashion with fun: the combinations are endless and offer everyone the possibility of creating their clan with a common word, like a prism that we share .
We have made precisely these words into traits of the mind captured and placed by the brush of a calligrapher. Because the way we write them gives them a particular meaning, just like when we pronounce them.
A metaphor for the arts of the pen, the ink stains are inscribed, randomly and everywhere, in the DNA of “BE”, in order to make each piece a unique example.
And since today more than ever fashion imagines itself with and for others, “BE” is committed to all those who, denied all privilege, lead silent battles that must be seized and, without an ounce of hesitation, accompany... chanting them.
